Strawberry Chiffon Mousse
Thank you to Belinda for this recipe
10-MINUTE STRAWBERRY CHIFFON MOUSSE
1/2 cup (2 ounces) sliced almonds
2 cups (16 ounces) heavy cream, very cold
2 cups (16 ounces) strawberries, washed, hulled,
and cut into 1/4-inch cubes
4 tablespoons rock sugar or 12 sugar cubes
Preheat oven to 350°.
Place the sliced almonds on an unbuttered cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes or until golden-brown. Cool to room temperature.
In a bowl, whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks and gently fold the strawberries and sugar into it. (Do not over mix the cream, or it will get too watery.) Sprinkle the browned almond slices over the top and serve immediately.

Sauce Arturo Gourmet Sauce
Sauce Arturo has a sweet taste and chunky vegetables. My initial reaction was, "You know, this would be great added to Brunswick stew or combined with some other tomato sauce." I mixed the Sauce Arturo with the previously reviewed Dei Fratelli Presto! Pizza Sauce when I made a batch of spaghetti. The combination of the two sauces was a match made in heaven.
Dei Fratelli: Presto! Pizza Sauce
Presto! Pizza Sauce is head and shoulders above Hunt's, Heinz and other brands of tomato sauce and pizza sauce. The pizza sauce contains chunks of tomato and finely sliced onions. It is not sickly sweet or horribly acidic. This lesser known brand is definitely worth trying.
Amy's Tofu Scramble Pocket Sandwich
Amy's Tofu Scramble contains organic tofu, red peppers, shiitake mushrooms, organic onions, organic broccoli, jalapeno peppers, turmeric and wheat flour. I was impressed by how flavorful the tofu scramble was . I found the taste to be superior to real scrambled eggs. The crust of the pocket sandwich had the perfect thickness. The vegetables are much more finely chopped than the picture on the package, but this did not affect the taste of them. The flavor of the vegetables and the amount of seasoning was impeccable.
Monk's Bread : Sunflower Bran
I bought a loaf of Monk's Bread yesterday at Publix. It turned out to be a great buy. This bread was absolutely delicious ! I loved the lightly sweet taste and the sunflower seeds. I can't wait to try the other varieties.
